SUMMARY:2501 Funding for Small Farms: Climate Smart Fieldscapes & USDA-NRCS Programs
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will provide an overview of funding opportunities for urban and small scale farms\, offered through MU’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture and USDA-NRCS. Funding opportunities include a $10\,000 payment for implementation and maintenance of climate-smart practices (over a 3-year contract)\, as well as Natural Resource conservation Services EQIP cost share programs designed for small farms. An optional short presentation on using cover crops in vegetable production systems will follow the funding opportunities presentation. \nRegistration deadline is 12/11/2023 at 5 pm. \nYou will receive an email the morning of 12/12/2023 with the zoom link to attend the webinar that evening. \nCost: Free
