For those on eastern time: March 27th 2-3:15
Presented by The Food Systems Leadership Network and Institute for Social and Economic Development Solutions, this series focuses on Community Food Projects with speakers from a variety of projects around the country.
This week we will be exploring the topic of Food Sovereignty, and will be joined by Dr. Reggie Flynn, Executive Director of the North Flint Reinvestment Corporation, and Steph Wiley, co-founder of Brooklyn Packers. They will talk about their experience working within a food cooperative framework, and how this model can create more equitable local food systems for underserved communities.
