Food Safety and Post-Harvest Handling Farm Tour

At this farm tour, we will discuss food safety and post-harvest handling practices implemented at Pat and Rachel’s Garden in Olathe, KS https://patandrachelsgardens.com/. Participants will have an opportunity to observe their produce production and value-added produce operation and consider how they can implement them on their own farms. The event is organized by MU and KSU Extension as part of the Growing Growers program, but is open to anyone interested and is free.
