About: Join us Nov. 8 for the second annual Southwest Iowa Local Foods Summit featuring educational sessions from regional speakers, businesses along Malvern’s Main Street, locally sourced food, and networking opportunities.
Session topics will include:
- Farm to school
- Rural grocery store initiatives
- Breakouts for local farmers on production and marketing
The summit will also include:
- Free breakfast and lunch (catered by Classic Cafe in Malvern)
- Exhibitor booths and farm stands for community members to gather resources and shop
- Real-time interpretation from English to Spanish will be available
