Experience Missouri Agroforestry

The Missouri Chestnut Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together farmers, families, food lovers, and community members to celebrate the bounty of agroforestry in our region and beyond. The Chestnut Festival is always free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

Sample chestnuts prepared many ways, have a cup of paw paw ice cream, purchase specialty crops straight from local agroforestry farmers, learn about conservation organizations throughout Missouri, and take a hay wagon ride through our research orchards. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or simply looking to discover new flavors and foods grown right here in Missouri, there’s something for everyone.
