Southwest Iowa Local Food Summit

About: Join us Nov. 8 for the second annual Southwest Iowa Local Foods Summit featuring educational sessions from regional speakers, businesses along Malvern’s Main Street, locally sourced food, and networking opportunities.

Session topics will include: 

• Farm to school
• Rural grocery store initiatives
• Breakouts for local farmers on production and marketing

The summit will also include:

• Free breakfast and lunch (catered by Classic Cafe in Malvern)
• Exhibitor booths and farm stands for community members to gather resources and shop
• Real-time interpretation from English to Spanish will be available
